
Greetings, I’m Dave Richardson, leading the ICT Desktop Support team at a UK Local Council. With over 26 years in Education IT, my expertise spans Capita SIMS, assessments, and server/network maintenance.
I’ve collaborated with educational institutions, a Local Education Authority, and a global outsourcing company, enhancing desktop support.
In 2019, I briefly ventured into tourism, specialising in organising group holidays.
Returning to Local Government, I now lead a team of 12 ICT Desktop Support Officers, ensuring quick and resilient support.
Known for proactive problem-solving and a strong work ethic, I maintain operational efficiency and offer comprehensive support, troubleshooting, and infrastructure management.
As part of the In-House ICT Service Desk Support Team, I contribute to organisational success through training, coaching, and mentoring. My commitment is to uphold high standards of efficiency and deliver exceptional support for the Local Government’s extensive IT assets.
